1 month agoIn downtown Belgrade, police separate government supporters from protesters gathered in support of Dijana Hrka, the mother who lost her son in the collapse of a train station canopy in Novi Sad.
1 month agoA column of Novi Sad residents is currently heading towards Bulevar Oslobodjenja, where the SNS office is located. The number of citizens supporting Dijana Hrka is increasing by the minute.
There is also a rally in Novi Sad in support of Dijana Hrka, who is on a hunger strike in Belgrade near the Serbian Parliament, between those gathered in Ćaciland who are firing cannon shots, and police in riot gear, who are not allowing her and a large number of her supporters to approach the parliament. The rally was called by the assemblies and students, and Vojislav, one of the citizens of Novi Sad who blocked the intersection near the Banovina building, tells N1 that everyone is here as one, "we need to be the whole of Serbia as one, to fight". "There is no easing of tensions, we have to go all the way, if we give up now, we will be gone, their goal is to destroy us", he stressed
