2 week agoThe Romanian Ministry of Defense announced that a Spanish pilot flying an F-18 fighter jet as part of a NATO air patrol mission in Romania shot down a drone that had illegally violated Romanian airspace, marking the fourth such incident in the country this year.
The wreckage of the fourth drone in a day has been found in Romania near the border with Ukraine, the country's Defense Ministry reported. It was discovered near the village of Plauru, about two kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
