Romanian President Iohannis calls for "calm" and "restraint". Emphasises Moldova's EU path but does not mention new government or Sandu. Calls for "responsible dialogue" and "respect for democracy". Can be read as rather timid support for the coalition.
Sandu speaks: "As Prime Minister I call on police, carabinieri, special forces, penitentiary authorities," to support the new government. "Plahotniuc does not want to ensure the peaceful transition of power." Says to police: "do not endanger the lives of our citizens."

Police remain outside the parliament building in Tirana, which anti-govt demonstrators threw firecrackers at tonight. Police used tear gas to disperse them, after demonstrators moved from the PM's Office to this location, which, in previous rallies, has seen much violence.
Anti-govt demonstrators flee from tear gas outside of the Albanian Parliament building in Tirana, which police used on the crowd of protesters after they turned violent, throwing fireworks and smoke bombs at the Office of PM Edi Rama.
Albanian opposition leader Lulzim Basha addressed the crowd of anti-govt demonstrators in Tirana before they marched toward the parliament building. During the speech, fireworks and smoke bombs continued to singe the PM's building.
