Els col·legis electorals de Moldàvia van tancar a les 21:00. Un total d'1.327.084 ciutadans van votar dins del país. La participació va ser del 51,90%.
A les 9:00 del matí, 112.320 votants havien emès els seus vots a Moldàvia. D'aquests, el 49,62% eren dones i el 50,38% eren homes. Actualment, els votants més actius són ciutadans d'entre 35 i 45 anys i de 46 a 55 anys.
La Comissió Electoral Central de Moldàvia ha tret el partit Moldova Mare de les eleccions parlamentàries. La decisió es va prendre després de denúncies contra el partit i una investigació periodística que apuntava a la implicació d'Ilan Shor i Moscou en el finançament de les activitats del partit polític.
